Our School
Union Park School opened in August of 2020, and is the proud home of the Toros! Our school colors are Gold and Black.
Union Park was the first school in the DVUSD family to offer a Spanish Immersion program. All K-6th grade students take a Spanish Specials class as part of the specials rotation each week that focuses on conversational Spanish skills as well as learning all about Spanish speaking cultures around the world. Our 7th and 8th grade students have the option to take Spanish 1-2H during their middle school years for high school credits.
While we are a quickly growing school servicing about 950 students, and we expect that the growth in our area will directly impact our student population as quickly as the new homes and apartments in our area are built.
The teachers and staff at Union Park School are all properly certified by the state of Arizona (many of Master’s Degrees) and trained for their positions. We were fortunate to hand-pick and staff our school using the mindset of building a family. The administration at Union Park School firmly believe that any staff hired on our campus are people with whom we would want our own children to learn.
We are Toros! ¡Somos Toros!
